Site Manager
We're looking for a Site Manager to join our HMP Glasgow - WF2 - Roofs team based in Glasgow., Join us on one of Scotland's most exciting construction projects. As Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering complex roof structures across several buildings on HMP Glasgow's new £750M facility. This flagship project uses cutting-edge construction methods to create a modern, energy-efficient environment. You'll work collaboratively with our specialist teams, ensuring safe delivery whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. What will you be responsible for?As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the HMP Glasgow project team, supporting them in delivering large, roofing works across multiple buildings. You will oversee safe delivery of complex roofing structures and MEP services integration across houseblocks ensuring delivery through coordinating supply chain and sub contractors, Your day to day will include: -Managing subcontractor partners to ensure safe, high-quality delivery of roofing packages covering structures, MEP integration and cladding systems. -Coordinating site logistics, including plant and labour movement, whilst maintaining safety standards -Reviewing risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices -Carrying out tool box talks and inductions -Checking quality and ensuring progression of works in line with programme -Facilitating collaboration between roofing contractors and MEP teams for services installation -Maintaining accurate site records utilising relevant software This role of Site Manager is great for you if You have previous management experience within a large construction environment - either high value commercial roofing or main contracting -You possess a strong understanding of commercial roofing installations and how roof based MEP services integrate -You're confident communicating with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels -You're passionate about health and safety, with the confidence to ensure best practices are followed -You have strong IT skills - able to use relevant software to ensure records and up to date and accurate -You hold relevant construction qualifications (HND/Degree/SVQ or Technical Trade), SMSTS certification, CSCS card, and a driving licence, Disability ConfidentAbout Disability Confident
