Requirements for the Non-Medical Prescriber Job in Glasgow

  • Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Health Professional with an active NMC, GPhC, or HCPC registration.
  • Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in prescribing and managing medications safely and effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines, NICE standards, and legal frameworks governing prescribing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high standards of care.

Qualifications and Experience for the Non-Medical Prescriber

  • Experience in primary care, mental health, community health, or urgent care settings.
  • Knowledge of long-term conditions management, ADHD, pain management, or substance misuse.
