Housekeeper
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms and public areas. The successful candidate will ensure a comfortable, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all guests.,
- Clean and service guest rooms to the highest standard, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms
- Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and staff areas
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property to the appropriate department
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally where required
- Work efficiently to meet daily cleaning targets and timeframes Working Hours:
- 30-40 hours per week
- Shifts will vary and may include weekends and public holidays Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Flexible availability to work a range of shifts Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and products
- Customer service experience in a hospitality environment NOTE - Applicants must have have the right to work in the role.
