A well‑established manufacturing organisation is seeking a driven and experienced Cost Accountant to support its finance function on a 6–12 month contract. Your new role
As the Cost Accountant, you will take ownership of delivering timely, accurate product costing and manufacturing finance insights. Your responsibilities will include:

• Product Costing & Analysis
• Inventory Accounting
• Manufacturing Overhead Management
• SAP Ownership
• Process Improvement & Reporting

What you’ll need to succeed

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing cost accounting role
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles
• Proven SAP experience within a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with other ERP systems, lean manufacturing, or BI/data warehousing tools is beneficial
