£25.92 Umbrella Rate | 3‑Month Contract → Permanent Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Glasgow, working on a variety of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel projects. This role offers excellent long‑term prospects, including structured upskilling, a clear competency framework, and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Welding and fabrication of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
Primary focus on MIG Welding
Training provided to develop TIG Welding capabilities
Working to engineering drawings and production plans
Ensuring high-quality workmanship and safe working practices

Training & Progression

Candidates starting at Grade 2 or Grade 3 will follow a structured Training & Competency Matrix designed to support progression to the next grade and pay bracket. This includes:

Skills development in TIG welding
Competency sign-off and performance reviews

What We’re Looking For

Strong background in MIG welding (MS / SS)
Ability to fabricate from drawings
Willingness to learn and broaden skillset
Reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-driven

Pay & Contract Details

£25.92 per hour – Umbrella rate
3‑month contract, with a strong possibility of permanent employment following the initial period
Full-time on-site role in Glasgow
