Finishing Manager / Site Manager

Rate: Competitive (DOE) We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager or Finishing Site Manager to join a major construction scheme based in Glasgow, offering approximately two years of work on a long-term project. This role will focus heavily on the final stages of the build, ensuring high standards of quality assurance, snagging, and defect management are maintained throughout the finishing phase. Key Responsibilities * Managing finishing trades and coordinating works during the final stages of construction * Carrying out detailed snagging inspections and defect identification across multiple work areas * Overseeing and tracking the resolution of defects to ensure works are completed to programme * Conducting high volumes of QA inspections and quality checks to ensure works meet specification and client standards * Maintaining accurate records of defects, progress and quality inspections * Liaising closely with subcontractors to ensure all works are completed to the required standard * Supporting project teams with handover preparation and completion * Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site at all times Requirements * Proven experience working as a Site Manager or Finishing Manager on construction projects * Strong experience in snagging, QA inspections, and defect management * Excellent eye for detail and high-quality finishing standards * Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors during project close-out stages * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred What’s on Offer * Long-term project (approx. 2 years) providing excellent continuity of work * Opportunity to work on a large, well-established construction scheme * Competitive day rate depending on experience If you are an experienced Site Manager or Finishing Manager with a strong focus on quality and defect management, we would be keen to hear from you
