Site Agent

We are working with a well-established and dynamic construction contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their expanding team in Lanarkshire. Known for delivering high-quality building and civil engineering projects across Scotland, our client is looking for an experienced Site Agent to take ownership of site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading site teams, and is committed to delivering exceptional results on time and within budget.

As the Site Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Overseeing all day-to-day site activities and ensuring projects run smoothly
* Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver projects on schedule
* Monitoring quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance on site
* Liaising with clients, project managers, and design teams to resolve issues and maintain progress
* Preparing site reports, updates, and documentation for internal and client purposes
* Assisting with resource planning, scheduling, and site logistics

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience as a Site Agent or similar role within construction
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent understanding of site operations, construction methodologies, and health and safety standards
* Good communication and problem-solving abilities
* Relevant construction or civil engineering qualifications
