Network Management Controls
Embark on a transformative journey as a Network Management Controls professional at Barclays, where you will be part of Network Management (NWM) team. The NWM team manages the internal and external relationships with our Agent Bank Network, facilitates the opening and closing of external accounts together with overseeing the performance of the services these Banks provide. The role will engage in acting in a governance capacity for all account openings with our External Agent Bank Network, as required by the business and be responsibility for Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) deliverables., To monitor quality standards and policies and support the implementation of these across all operational processes. To collaborate with control owners to execution Risk Control Self Assessments (RSCA) that measure the effectiveness of controls. Accountabilities
- Identification of regulatory trends and industry developments that may impact the banks operations.
- Support the implementation of quality standards and policies by collaborating across all operational teams and processes.
- Development of reports and presentations on control performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Participation in projects and initiatives aimed to improve control efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration with Control Owners to develop and manage RCSA to monitor design effectiveness, appropriateness of controls, compliance to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Support operational teams with the formal escalation and management of incidents, departmental procedures, record management and controls testing. Analyst Expectations

- Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation. To be successful as a Network Management Controls professional, you should have:
- Experience of a Network Management or CASS role preferred.
- Securities or other settlements background, Relationship Management, or Credit background useful.
- Attention to detail, with focus on accuracy.
- Technical Knowledge, demonstrates the ability to continually develop technical expertise and seek improvements.
- Business Skills, strives to improve relationships, processes and controls and can solve problems effectively and creatively.
- Communication, demonstrates good presentation skills, seeks constructive feedback and is an effective listener.
- Interpersonal Skills, networks with colleagues outside of the team and with external clients/contacts.

This role is based in Glasgow with a hybrid working model of working a minimum of 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday) in the office.
