Technician (Industrial Painting )

Our structural solutions include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection works, steel repair and strengthening work, carbon fibre and temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement. We also provide specialist lightweight decking and access solutions, as well as being specialists in long bridge and cable refurbishment., This role is essential for delivering high-quality workmanship in accordance with project specifications across the UK and ensuring all customer requirements are met.,

• Perform surface preparation to the required standards, including abrasive blasting to SA2-SA3 and mechanical preparation to ST2-ST3.
• Apply primers, intermediate coats, and topcoats to the specified dry-film thickness using high-quality brush and spray-painting techniques.
• Operate and maintain industrial blasting and airless spray-painting equipment, demonstrating strong competence in setup, troubleshooting, and safe operation.
• Work in accordance with recognised industry specifications, including SHW5000, SHW1900, and Network Rail M24.
• Identify and report surface preparation and coating defects such as laminations, drips, runs, and blistering.
• Follow all work instructions, maintain safety standards, and achieve production targets
  Minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial blasting and spray-painting, supported by either TTP or ICATS certification.
• Strong technical knowledge of blasting and spray-painting equipment, as well as relevant paint specifications.
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices within industrial painting environments.
• Good manual dexterity with the ability to handle materials safely and effectively
