We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our private client based in Glasgow, Scotland. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be?
This role involves providing specialist psychiatric care within adult inpatient and community mental health team (CMHT) settings. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and overseeing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services. The postholder must hold Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status and will be expected to participate in clinical meetings, documentation, and service development.
Qualifications and Experience:
• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
• Experience in adult psychiatry, including inpatient and CMHT settings
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to delivering patient-centred care
