People Solutions are currently recruiting for a day Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Glasgow .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for progression.

This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.

Shifts:

* Monday to Friday: 08:00 start times

Rates of pay:

* £13.00 per hour

Day-to-day duties:

As a Van Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

* Completing customer deliveries in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety guidelines
* Working with a driver's mate or second driver when required, as some products require two-person lifting
* Delivering products to customer's room of choice
* Making deliveries to residential properties
* Providing excellent customer service at all times
* General warehouse duties as assigned
* Inputting and processing customer's orders via the computers

Essential skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

* A valid UK Category B driving licence
* A minimum of one year's experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN10, DR10, or DD10 endorsements)
* Strong customer service skills
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Desirable experience:

* Twelve month's multi-drop delivery experience
* Experience working in a fast-paced delivery environment

Training:

* A paid site induction and assessment must be completed before starting work
* Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
