Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Glasgow Housing Support are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team

The Glasgow Housing Support Service provides temporary supported accommodation for 10 individuals over 18 years old, experiencing homelessness with a previous history of illicit drugs misuse and who are currently addressing these issues. We were commissioned by Glasgow Homeless Partnership and Glasgow Addiction Service.

Our main aims are to support individuals with housing support issues such as budgeting, food and nutrition, tenancy management and social skills all of which are essential for resettling and maintaining mainstream housing. We also assist individuals to access permanent housing, education, employment, confidence building, and relaxation/counselling courses.

We work closely with other agencies in assisting in the recovery of our service users.

We are located in the Maryhill area of Glasgow. The Service is staffed by teams of dedicated multi-skilled individuals who regularly participate in the most relevant and up to date training. The services are staffed on a 24 hour, 7 day per week rota system.

As a Lead Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
