Summary

A specialist contaminated land site investigation and remediation contractor focused on brownfield land services and the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, and including in-house support services such as environmental monitoring, invasive weeds treatment and laboratory treatability testing are looking to hire a Project Manager to assist with their growing workload

Based in Glasgow with hybrid working post probation

Business services include:

- Implementation of bespoke remediation strategies
- On- and off-site remediation of contaminated soil
- Treatment of contaminated groundwater
- Environmental and Geotechnical investigation
- Invasive weeds survey and treatment

To be suitable for the Remediation Project Manager you will have;

- Five to ten years of relevant experience in remediation, environmental consulting, or civil engineering.
- Technical Knowledge of contaminated land / groundwater
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
- Experience of working within large scale civil / construction projects
- Experience of discharging CDM duties as required by contractors
- Experience of managing project financial performance tracking and reporting
- Experience working under NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts (highly desirable)

Responsibilities

- Project management, with accountability for commercial, technical, and programme performance.
- Leading and delegating project work packages across project teams.
- Managing project start-up activities, including meetings, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Maintaining regular liaison with clients and key stakeholders.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience plus package including;

- 34 days annual leave
- Employee Ownership bonus after 12 months employment (£3600 tax free annually where company performance allows)
- Discretionary bonus
- £100K lump sum death in service insurance
- Hybrid working after successful probationary period
