Estimator (Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical Engineer/ Site Engineer) Summary A specialist contaminated land site investigation and remediation contractor focused on brownfield land services and the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, and including in-house support services such as environmental monitoring, invasive weeds treatment and laboratory treatability testing is looking to hire an Estimator to join their busy team and assist with our growing workload. The successful applicant will be based in our Glasgow office, with the option of hybrid working after successful probationary period The role could suit a Geo-Environmental Engineer / Site Engineer looking for a new challenge. Estimator Responsibilities Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantitiesEnsuring documented approval of all tender and contract documents before issueDealing with variations from form of contract and contractual issuesReviewing both successful and unsuccessful bids to determine any lessons to be learned, including conducting formal reviews when appropriateSub-contract procurement, ensuring maximum value for moneyReview of current estimating templates and terms and conditions Seeking someone with A degree in a Civil Engineering, Geo Environmental Engineering Quantity Surveying or relevant disciplineEstimating / Tendering knowledge Understanding of remediation and/or site investigation works Salary: Circa £30,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience plus package including 34 days annual leaveEmployee Ownership bonus after 12 months employment (£3600 tax free annually where company performance allows)Discretionary bonus£100K lump sum death in service insuranceHybrid working after successful probationary period To learn more about this Estimator opportunity get in touch with a copy of your CV.
