The Company Our client is a well‑established and growing organisation. They are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to take full ownership of management accounting, financial reporting, and stakeholder engagement across multiple projects.

This is a broad, hands‑on role offering strong visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to directly influence business performance.

The Role As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial control, and supporting both operational and strategic decision‑making. You'll oversee month‑end processes, statutory reporting, and key external relationships, including auditors, tax advisors, lenders and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounting

• Oversee and review core ledgers, loan schedules and cash books,ensuring accurate integration and reconciliation.
• Maintain accruals, prepayments and amortisation schedules.
• Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.

Financial Accounting

• Prepare statutory accounts and supporting documentation for year‑end audit.
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors.

Reporting & Analysis

• Present finance updates and reports at quarterly project board meetings.
• Maintain financial and operational models; prepare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail‑oriented finance professional with excellent technical skills and strong stakeholder management capability.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across finance, operations, and external partners.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Confident challenging information, interpreting data, and improving processes.
