CBW are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established specialist , forward-thinking Air Conditioning contractor operating across Scotland’s Central Belt.

This is a mobile role supporting a diverse portfolio of end-user clients, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and fault resolution on air conditioning systems.

Salary & Package:

• Salary up to £45,000 DOE
• Guaranteed additional earnings – approx.
  £600 per year from call-out
• 36-hour working week – reduced hours compared to the standard 40-hour week
• On-call rota: Approximately every 6 weeks (can be less)
• Call-out pay – £100 weekend allowance + minimum 4 hours paid per call-out
• Overtime - Saturday: Time and a half, Sunday: Double time

You will work directly with end-user clients across a range of sectors, including:

• Hospitality
• Retail
• Pharmaceutical
• Commercial environments and specialist facilities
• Covering predominantly the Central Belt of Scotland with occasional travel further North

Key Responsibilities:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
• Accurate fault finding, diagnostics, and repair
• Striving for first-time fix wherever possible
• Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal support teams

Qualifications & Experience (Essential):

• F-Gas Category 1 certification
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working as a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
• Strong PPM and fault-finding experience across commercial systems
• Full UK driving licence
