We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Glasgow, Scotland. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) settings
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for adult patients
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
• Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
• Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Qualifications & Experience
• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval
• Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient and CMHT environments
• Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
