Interim Financial Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting our key client on the appointment of an Interim Financial Accountant on a 6-12 month FTC, with the opportunity for extension.

Main Responsibilities:

• Completion and submission of returns for VAT, P11d, PSA, PPPR, ONS
• Prepare and submit weekly cashflow
• Process & post UK Monthly Payroll
• Identify and implement process improvements for VAT returns
• Annual statutory accounts preparation
• Complete PBC list for auditors and main point of contact for auditors
• Review of balance sheet reconciliation process supporting standardization, review process and risk reporting
• Following on from year end audit position, support the high-risk balance sheets accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of these accounts on a monthly basis
• Corporation Tax pack
• Maintenance of Tax Risk register
• Review of processes impacting tax compliance
• Annual review of Anti Bribery policy
• Involvement with IT team in specification of new systems impacting finance
• Support Finance Reporting Manager to identify and implement process improvements and controls across the Finance team so that best practice can be achieved
