Salary: ££38-£43k + Bonus

I am currently working with a Specialist Fleet Company that are looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join their Scottish team.

Mobile service technician job role:

Complete Service repairs in the most efficient manner without compromising quality, to the highest standards.
Ensure that the customer is handled politely and kept fully aware of the situation in a timely manner.
Be prepared to work off site under your own supervision. Attention must be paid to safe working practices at all times.
Arrive at the location at the time requested, or contact the relevant people immediately if an unforeseen delay occurs, such as traffic jams. Maintain full communication with the Service Centre and provide regular updates.
Maintain the accuracy of parts stocks on the van; following procedures to ensure their movement is controlled.
Process all paperwork such as worksheets, weekly time sheets in a timely and legible manner.
Ensure all technical documentation, such as parts manuals and service bulletins are at the current level.
Assist in the promotion of parts and service when appropriate.
Continually meet current and potential customer demand – which could mean working a 24/7 callout rota on a weekly basis, and / or a late shift on a weekly rota basis.
Assist in the control and reporting back of market intelligence. This includes any technical problems in the field, so that the information is fed back to the factory as quickly as possible.

Requirements for mobile service technician:

Previous experience as a mobile service echnician is essential
Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
