Assistant Manager, Marketing Excellence

The Marketing Excellence team plays a pivotal role in driving strategic marketing initiatives across the organisation. Our expertise spans five key areas:

  • Marketing Planning Advisory - Supporting teams in developing robust, strategic marketing plans
  • Market Impact Measurement - Designing and implementing measurement approaches to assess marketing effectiveness across the firm
  • Value Proposition Development - Crafting compelling value propositions that resonate with target audiences
  • Go-to-Market Strategy Development - Creating and implementing effective strategies to bring propositions to market
  • Scaling Excellence - Identifying and sharing best practice, driving and scaling innovation, improving marketing efficiency and instilling an outside-in perspective
  • The team is ultimately responsible for elevating marketing standards and improving impact.,
  • Conduct and analyse competitor, market and audience research to inform strategic recommendations
  • Develop and refine value propositions and go-to-market strategies
  • Break down complex challenges into manageable components and propose actionable solutions informed by research and insight
  • Support or lead stakeholder and audience interviews to gather qualitative insights
  • Assist in designing and scaling consistent marketing planning and measurement approaches across teams
  • Cascade best practices across teams to encourage adoption and elevate marketing standards, including crafting compelling communications
  • Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations to tell succinct and meaningful stories
  • Leverage AI tools to support market and audience research, driving efficiencies and innovation
  • Utilise project management platforms such as Monday.com to manage workflows and enhance team collaboration

    We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Marketing Excellence team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, supporting and, in some cases, leading sections of our core offerings. The ideal candidate will have a background in strategy development, strong analytical skills, and the ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable insights.

  • Proven experience in strategy development, ideally within a marketing or consulting environment
  • Experience in breaking down large, ambiguous problems and proposing structured solutions
  • Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise, and actionable insights
  • An outstanding communicator with strong writing skills, able to simplify complex concepts into concise, persuasive copy while preserving key insights
  • A proactive self-starter who takes the initiative and manages tasks independently, while also collaborating confidently and constructively within a cross-functional team
  • Knowledge of marketing planning, measurement frameworks, and go-to-market strategies
  • A strong grasp of key buyer personas, with experience mapping journeys, developing buyer strategies and producing compelling narratives that align value propositions to the priorities of C-suite
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create compelling and visually engaging presentations
  • Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and large audiences
  • Desirable:
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tools
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for research and process efficiencies
  • Experience working in B2B settings, preferably within a professional services organisation
