Consultant in Neurosurgery with Sub-specialty in Skull Base Neurosurgery

The shift pattern for this post is 40 hours per week, job plan to be agreed on appointment.
This post is for a substantive Neurosurgical Consultant with a specialist interest in lateral skull base and cranio-cervical junction pathology and will assist the department in service provision across the West of Scotland.
Neurosurgery is a welcoming department with access to a wide range of sub-specialty practice. The post-holder would be expected to fulfil clinical commitments in both theatre and clinic, as well as a contribute to the on-call rota which will be working at 1 in 15. The applicant will be expected to participate in the provision of elective and emergency neurosurgical care, contribute to the management of long-waiting patients, and support efforts to enhance departmental performance and service delivery.
