Job Description

Protective Service Officer – £15.50ph – 42 Hours per Week
Covering Scotstoun, Govan, Bishopton, and Hillend (as required)

Your Role:

As a Protective Service Officer in our Response Team, you'll be part of a dynamic unit based in Scotland. Your role includes short-term deployments (typically 2–4 nights) to protect client assets across the UK and abroad, often at short notice. You'll also provide resilience at sites including Scotstoun , Govan , Bishopton , and Hillend , ensuring constant protection and peace of mind for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset Protection : Maintain a secure environment for client properties, equipment, and personnel.

• Mobile Protection : Travel between multiple sites to provide dynamic and rapid-response security.

• Surveillance & Monitoring : Operate security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control).

• Incident & Emergency Response : React effectively to emergencies, liaising with relevant services.

• Enforcement of Protocols : Implement site-specific security measures, visitor management, and ID checks.

• Stakeholder Support : Engage with staff, visitors, and contractors with professionalism.

• Professional Conduct : Maintain a smart appearance and represent the client with integrity.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid SIA Licence (Essential)

• Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle (Essential)

• Must be a British Citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years

• Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)

• 5-year checkable work history

• Previous experience in security or protective services (Preferred)

• Strong communication, observational, and decision-making skills

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability

• Able to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
