What you’ll be doing

You will also complete industry led training to develop an understanding of the railway as a complex system to broaden your engineering knowledge.
To widen your skillset in as many areas as possible, you may have the opportunity to take part in planned rotations while undertaking your formal training with the university, as well as training by the team you are placed in to help you develop the skills needed for a career with Network Rail.
You’ll gain experience across a variety of rail projects, from traditional trackside signalling and level crossing operations to working on the next generation of in-cab signalling or level crossing technology.
