An immediate vacancy for an Electrical Inspection /Inspector.

Based on site in Glasgow in our busy manufacturing facility, you will be the Process Incoming Inspector for Goods Receiving, Inspection of all incoming electrical components.

Current working 37.5 hours flexi time across 4 days (Mon – Thurs), plus overtime.

Our Opportunity

As an Electrical Inspection /Inspector you will be part of an experienced team, inspecting products ensuring compliance and engage with all disciplines within manufacturing to facilitate an improvement in product quality and process adherence.

Day to day duties include;

  • Support Business objectives by ensuring compliance with Quality and Process requirements

  • Ensure that product or process issues are reported accurately and timely

  • Record Non Conformance within an ERP system.

  • Verify that required quality assurance documentation is complete and accurate

  • Check, prepare and document Production records/conformity

About You

The successful candidate will have a proven working knowledge of Electro/Mechanical Inspection and understanding of quality processes. Qualified in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, you will be able to interpret engineering drawings & specifications, provide data analysis and write reports.

  • Working knowledge of IPC 610 and IPC 620 would be an advantage
