Surveyor

Cobalt have partnered with a highly regarded, growing commercial property management business looking to appoint a Surveying Executive to join their Glasgow portfolio team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' experience in property or surveying support who wants broader exposure, more responsibility, and genuine progression.

The Opportunity

Working closely with an experienced Surveyor and reporting to the Client Director, you'll play a key role in managing a varied commercial portfolio. You won't just be "support" you'll take real ownership of selected properties while building your technical and client-facing experience.

This role offers hands-on involvement across service charge management, occupier engagement, compliance, and site inspections giving you well-rounded exposure within a fast-paced, professional environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reviewing and interpreting commercial leases
• Assisting with service charge budgeting and reconciliations
• Managing occupier applications and handling tenant queries
• Keeping property management systems accurate and up to date
• Carrying out site inspections and attending occupier meetings
• Supporting insurance compliance and void property management
• Authorising works in collaboration with the Surveyor
• Preparing reports for clients and maintaining document control
• Monitoring statutory and internal compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year's experience in a similar property or surveying role
• Confidence reading and understanding leases
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative
• Solid IT skills including Microsoft Office
• A team player who's eager to learn and develop
