Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm and there may be opportunity for Out of hours.

Working Hours: 40 full-time

Duration: 12 months fixed term

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Department of Neuro Rehabilitation Medicine , based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with travel to Inverclyde Royal Hospital. This post is to advertise a junior fellowship, aimed at FY2-grade doctors, to support the Department in the delivery of service.

Interviews will take place in May 2026 and applicants will be expected to start in August 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to work and gain experience within the largest Neurorehabilitation department in Scotland.

You will participate in providing care for Neurorehabilitation patients across two sites within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. The department has 2 inpatient wards, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with 18 inpatient beds, 4 of which are dedicated to the Major Trauma Network, and a 4 bedded inpatient unit based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.

You will join a team serving the population of the West of Scotland, ensuring exposure to a wide range of Neurorehabilitation care.

Your daytime duties will be on the one of the unit’s two wards providing inpatient care and attending clinics at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a license to practise.

The Clinical Fellow post is not a recognised training post but adheres to the principles accepted as necessary for good training. For the motivated individual, there may be opportunities for teaching and research.
