Job Description

You have a great personality! You will therefore win over our customers by providing a service that is tailored to their individual needs and requirements. Your duties will also include the following:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and local accounts
• Identify new business opportunities
• Maintain regular communication with clients to strengthen partnerships and encourage repeat business.
• Host site visits and hotel show rounds for prospective accounts.
• Actively support brand awareness initiatives within the Glasgow market.
• Represent Motel One at industry networking events, trade shows, and local business events.
• Attend relevant corporate and hospitality networking events.
• Monitor local market activity and competitor performance.
• Track and report sales activity and room night production.
• Ensure CRM and account data are kept up to date

Qualifications

• Ideally have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have some professional sales experience or be looking for a change of career
• Be open and communicative and have a positive attitude
• Have excellent manners and strong negotiation skills
• Have a persuasive personality and enjoy active selling
• Enjoy working in multicultural teams and be willing to cooperate across departments
