Job Title: Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist Residential

Location: Glasgow

I am looking for an experienced Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join one of the clients I am working with. The suitable candiadte will have a strong background in large-scale residential delivery. This role is suited to candidates with proven experience working on developer-led and affordable housing schemes, rather than domestic or one-off residential projects.

You will play a key role in the technical design and delivery of multi-unit residential developments, working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and consultant teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and commercially viable schemes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the technical delivery of large-scale residential projects
Develop detailed design packages and construction information
Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Planning Policy, and housing standards
Prepare specifications, schedules, and scope of works documentation
Manage project workloads and deliver to agreed deadlines

Key Requirements

Minimum 5+ years' UK experience in architectural project delivery
Strong experience in developer-led and/or affordable housing schemes
Proven track record working on multi-unit residential developments
Strong technical and detailing ability across RIBA stages
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Good understanding of UK housing standards, planning policy, and building regulations
Excellent coordination, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a proactive, delivery-focused approach
Eligibility to work in the UK
