NQ Solicitor for Motor (Scotland

Why join us? DWF Law LLP have an exciting new opportunity for a NQ Solicitor to join our growing Motor team dealing varied caseload of defender litigated Motor and Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases. The successful candidate will be handling their own caseload of pre-litigated, litigated defender Motor cases in Sheriff Court, as well as assisting more senior team members with large value complex cases. DWF Law LLP is a flexible business, which has adopted a hybrid working model where our people enjoy a mix of home and office working. The role can be worked from Glasgow or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis. Responsibilities

• Ensuring that cases are progressed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Strong technical ability to include a thorough grasp of principles, case law and litigation.
• Working with our valued and long-standing clients to understand requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice.
• Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices
• Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
• Developing your technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practices.
What will help you succeed in this role? Essential Criteria
• Experience handling own caseload of pre-litigated and Sheriff Court actions as well as assisting more senior team members with large value, complex files.
• Experience managing Motor and/or Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases
• Insurance defender litigation experience is essential.

  Experience handling litigation experience in one of the following area's - Motor,
• Road Traffic Accident (RTA), Personal Injury or Serious Injury.
• Experience of acting for Defenders, including litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and to work effectively under pressure.
