This is a fixed-term post of 12 months.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm, plus on call.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for candidates to join a growing team at the Institute of Neurological Sciences. The Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery position in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde in a UK-renowned fellowship that provides exceptional training and educational access, alongside widening a trainee’s clinical experience and management capabilities.
NHSGGC Spinal Neurosurgery Fellowship
The post-holder will be expected to support in the delivery of ward-based and clinic-based activities, as well as supporting the access to theatres to develop a fellows skills. This fellowship is a general neurosurgical fellowship, and the post-holder will be expected to participate in a 16-person trainee rota for the out of hours cover.

Applicants who have not undertaken a UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the advertised post start date, will be asked to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST). The CREST form must be completed by a consultant who has worked with you for a minimum continuous period of three months whole-time equivalent wholly within the 3.5 years prior to the advertised post start date for which you are applying.
