Transport Administrator

Pay Rate: £26,436.80
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Working Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on rotation (may be required to work occasional weekends)
Location: Glasgow

We are now looking for a Transport Administrator to provide efficient administrative support to our transport operation and ensure the smooth and compliant running of daily activities.

✅ A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Supporting daily transport operations by completing all required administrative tasks professionally and on time

• Allocating work to drivers and ensuring they receive the correct documentation

• Assisting with driver debriefs and checking paperwork for accuracy and compliance

• Maintaining accurate records relating to vehicle checks, tachographs, working time and legal compliance

• Liaising with drivers, planners and managers to resolve queries efficiently

• Assisting with incident reporting, absence tracking, and general office administration

✅ THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience in a transport or logistics admin role (preferred but not essential)

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

• Confident communicator with the ability to work with drivers, planners and managers

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport systems (training provided)
