About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow. The business has a strong reputation for delivering complex and innovative infrastructure projects, including wind farms, battery storage facilities, and substations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of construction projects
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards
Lead risk management, value engineering, and cost control initiatives
Prepare, review, and assess tender costings
Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution
Analyse project performance and produce detailed financial and progress reports
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building contracts, legislation, and industry regulations
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Sound knowledge of contract law and industry regulations
Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
