Personal Tax Senior
Your new company
You will be joining a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy firm with a strong reputation for client service and a supportive, people‑focused culture. The firm looks after a loyal and diverse personal tax client base, including high‑net‑worth individuals, directors and owner‑managed businesses. There is a clear emphasis on quality, long‑term relationships and creating an environment where team members feel valued and supported.
Your new role
In this Personal Tax Senior role, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of personal tax clients and act as a key point of contact. Your work will primarily focus on personal tax compliance, while also providing exposure to advisory support and planning opportunities alongside more senior colleagues. You will manage client queries, liaise with HMRC when required and play an active role in supporting and mentoring junior team members. This is a role that offers real responsibility, client interaction and scope to continue developing your technical and professional skills.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have prior experience working within a UK accountancy practice in a personal tax role and a solid understanding of personal tax compliance. You will be organised, proactive and confident in dealing directly with clients. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential. ATT qualification, or part‑qualification, would be beneficial but is not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will benefit from a supportive and friendly working environment with exposure to a high‑quality personal tax portfolio. The firm offers genuine opportunities for ongoing development and career progression, along with a competitive salary and benefits package. This is a role where your contribution is recognised and where you can build a long‑term career within a stable and respected practice.
