Central Data Team - Regional Strategy Lead, EMEA
The Regional Strategy Lead, EMEA, is a senior leader in ORRC’s Central Data Team responsible for driving and executing the Operations data strategy across the EMEA region. The role accelerates transformation, strengthens data controls, reduces operational risk, and enables scalable automation and AI delivery.
You will partner closely with Silo Data Leads, Technology (RTech), the central Transformation team, and ORRC Data Strategy to embed best‑in‑class governance, data quality, and enablement across the region. This role is instrumental in moving Operations from tactical, uncontrolled data sources to certified, authoritative, well‑governed data assets.
Key Responsibilities- Define and drive the EMEA data strategy, roadmap, priorities, and KPIs aligned with global goals.
- Lead governance frameworks ensuring certified, authoritative data underpins regulatory and risk reporting.
- Own the regional Opportunities Backlog: identify strategic data opportunities, quantify value, and align prioritization across silos.
- Champion automation and AI by improving data quality, lineage, access, and readiness for scalable delivery.
- Partner with senior Operations, Technology, and Risk stakeholders; remove delivery blockers and replicate reusable patterns.
- Embed and model strong data culture—driving adoption of training, tooling, and best practices across EMEA teams.
- Expert: Risk Management & Control; Business Knowledge & Expertise; Strategic Thinking & Vision; Leadership; Transformation.
- Advanced to Expert: Analysis & Judgement; Communication; Financial & Commercial Focus.
- Deep expertise in data governance, regulatory reporting, and operational risk management.
- Proven leadership delivering multi‑silo transformation and data modernization programs.
- Fluency in data platforms and governance tools (Snowflake, Collibra, DataZone).
- Strong influencing skills with ability to align senior stakeholders across regions.
- Ability to convert strategy into measurable execution plans with strong control outcomes.
7+ years in data management, governance, or operational risk, with demonstrated leadership across regions and experience driving automation/AI‑related initiatives.
