About the Role

Depending on your level of experience, you will:

• Assess, analyse and make decisions on protection applications.

• Apply sound judgement, working within agreed frameworks.

• Support continuous improvement, shaping how we evolve our underwriting practices.

• Work closely with colleagues across Operations, Proposition, Distribution and Compliance to deliver great customer experiences.

• Contribute to the development of tools, processes and best practices that future-proof our function.

About You

We welcome applications from Underwriters at all levels — from those growing their skills to seasoned specialists. You may have experience in:

• Protection underwriting (life, critical illness, income protection).

• Using underwriting manuals, systems and tools.

• Managing risk and delivering strong customer outcomes.

• Working in a customer-focused or compliance-led environment.
