Linzi is an outgoing and sociable lady from the Dennistoun G31 area of the city. She loves to be active in the local community and surrounding areas. Being out in the community is very important for Linzi as this brings her a lot of joy.
Linzi enjoys accessing a wide variety of community activities, including cinema trips, bowling, and especially swimming, which she is excited to get back into. She loves to sing and a karaoke night is Linzi’s idea of fun. So, if you love to sing this would also be a big bonus!
A typical day for Linzi starts leisurely with breakfast at her own pace before getting ready to go out in the community to participate in activities that she enjoys.
Together, you could also be accompanying Linzi to go out for meals and to go shopping to buy gifts/cards for birthdays and special occasions. It may be having a relaxed day in the house playing games or watching movies, particularly when the weather isn’t good. Linzi is a full-time wheelchair user and will require support with all aspects of personal care and when out in the community.
Linzi is looking for a Female Personal Assistant who is energetic and fun and relatable- someone who shares her interests and brings a positive, encouraging approach. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with someone who communicates in a direct and straightforward manner. Patience and a calm, solutions‑focused approach are important, Linzi would benefit from support that is steady, organised, and reassuring.
The role is for 19 hours per week Monday-Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours. The rate of pay £13.60 per hour.
