Physiotherapy - Children and Young People – NHS Lothian
3 x 1.0WTE Band 6 - Rotational Post – Royal Hospital for Children and Young People
We are looking for creative, innovative physiotherapists to join our team as rotational Band 6 physiotherapists. We would welcome applications from those with relevant experience across a range of specialties and a keen interest to work with children, young people and their families with a focus on rehabilitation and enablement. This post rotates through a range of specialty areas including MSK – inpatients and outpatients, community rehabilitation, respiratory including critical care and community, neurology, oncology, neuro-disability, burns and plastics and major trauma. The post holder will carry a caseload independently and may be required to work with children, young people and their families in a variety of settings including their own homes, nurseries and early years centres, specialist and mainstream schools as well as outpatient and inpatient settings depending on need and specialty area.
This post would suit someone who is interested in pursuing a career working with children and young people, committed to life-long learning to develop themselves and others and contribute to ongoing service development. As a service, we are committed to ensuring staff have the resources available to them to support continuing professional development across the 4 pillars of practice.
There is a requirement for on call within these roles and support and training is provided.
We would encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch and come for a visit as you may find this is the post you have been looking for!
