Location: Glasgow & Central Belt

At Emtec Building Services , we’re continuing to grow our delivery teams to support an exciting and varied pipeline of projects across Scotland. As a nationwide M&E contractor with a strong in-house workforce, we’re now looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join us and play a key role on some genuinely interesting projects.

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll be trusted to lead, coordinate and deliver with the backing of a supportive, experienced business behind you.

The Role

As Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of electrical works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

What You'll be Doing

• Leading the delivery of projects from start through to completion.

• Supervising and coordinating on-site operatives and subcontractors.

• Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with programme and budget.

• Upholding all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards at all times.

• Attending and contributing to client, consultant, and main contractor meetings.

• Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and regular quality and safety inspections.

• Supporting workforce planning and allocation of resources on site.

• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and site teams.

What You'll Bring

• Experience supervising electrical works on construction projects, ideally within an M&E contracting environment.

• Confidence working independently, managing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Practical problem solving and sound decision making skills.

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office packages.

• SSSTS Health & Safety qualification (essential).

• Current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

• Valid SJIB Grading Card.
