Developer (Part-Time)

Job description

Whisky Asset | Glasgow | £15–£20 per hour

Whisky Asset is looking for a developer to support a number of technical projects across the business.

This role will involve working closely with the team to develop new features for our website, build internal systems that support our sales team, and assist in developing digital tools such as our internal sales application.

The position would suit someone who enjoys building practical tools, improving digital experiences, and contributing to real projects within a growing company.

The Role

You will support a range of technical projects including:

• Developing and improving features across the Whisky Asset website
• Supporting the development of internal tools and web applications
• Assisting in building and maintaining our internal sales platform
• Supporting development of iOS applications used internally by the team
• Implementing integrations and automation within our sales funnel
• Helping build systems that improve workflows across the business

This is a hands-on role where your work will directly support how the business operates day to day.

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and PHP
• Familiar with Xcode and iOS app development
• Experience or interest in Swift and/or Objective-C for mobile development
• Strong interest in UI / UX design and user experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
• Interest in building clean, reliable and well structured systems

Experience with API integrations, automation tools, or sales funnel systems would be beneficial but not essential.

Working Arrangement

• Part-time role
• 2–3 days per week
• Based in Glasgow , working alongside the Whisky Asset team
• £15–£20 per hour depending on experience

• As Whisky Asset grows, we are building a number of internal systems and digital tools to support how the business operates. This role will support the development of those systems while contributing to projects that directly impact the day to day running of the company.
