Van Driver / Valet

The VacancyAbout this RoleWe are looking for a Van Driver / Valet to support the operations of our Truck and Trailer team, helping ensure vehicles are moved, presented and maintained to the high standards expected across Dawsongroup.This is a part-time role (2-3 days per week) with flexible hours available, supporting the day-to-day movement and preparation of vehicles across customer sites, branches and workshops.You will play an important role in ensuring vehicles are delivered safely, kept clean and ready for use, and that operational tasks are completed efficiently to support the wider team.

• Delivering and collecting vehicles from customer locations, company branches and workshops.
• Cleaning vehicles inside and out to company standards to ensure they are ready for use.
• Presenting vehicles for MOT and supporting basic operational movements on site.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Assisting with general yard organisation and other operational duties when required.
About YouYou take pride in representing a business professionally and understand the importance of safety, reliability and presentation when working with vehicles and customers. This role suits someone organised, flexible and comfortable with a variety of practical tasks throughout the day.
• A valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• A current Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• A professional and polite approach when interacting with customers and colleagues.
• The ability to complete vehicle checks, paperwork and basic documentation.
• A flexible attitude as journeys and tasks may vary day to day.
