PD (Self Shooting)
We're looking for a YouTube-first Producer Director to help drive, produce, self-shoot and self-edit the brand's dedicated YouTube content. You must have experience of producing and direct content for YouTube specifically for this role. You will have a strong track record of creating platform-native, high-performing content, who is confident translating the energy of the live studio show into engaging digital storytelling. Ideally you would also have some broadcast TV credits, but it is not essential. You'll lead the creation of bold, engaging YouTube content that captures the energy, humour and spontaneity of Saturday Mash-Up! - translating both live TV moments and bespoke specially shot content into standout digital storytelling. You will be used to thinking strategically and be responsible for the whole process - from Thumbnail to edited video, ready to post. You'll have a deep understanding of how YouTube audiences engage, from formats and pacing to the all important thumbnails and titles, talent performance and editorial tone, and be confident working at pace in a fast-moving production. Alongside your digital credentials, you'll bring a clear understanding of editorial compliance, filming paperwork and delivery deadlines. Experience creating content for younger audiences is a real bonus, but the priority is your YouTube expertise, creative instinct and ability to shape content that genuinely works on the platform.
