Maintenance Plumber
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Plumber for a hospital contract in Glasgow
The Maintenance Plumber will be working within plant rooms and on wards. This is a hands-on role in a critical environment, offering stability, variety, and career development.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and repair mechanical and plumbing systems across site
- Operate and monitor plant room equipment (boilers, pumps, HVAC)
- Respond to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime
- Complete PPMs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Carry out minor plumbing repairs within communal areas and on the wards
- Assist with TMV maintenance and repairs
- Carry out water flushing and water treatment checks
What We’re Looking For:
- Plant room experience (beneficial)
- Hospital experience (beneficial)
- Mechanical or plumbing qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Reliable, proactive, and team-focused
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS check
