Solicitor / Senior Solicitor - Large Loss & Motor (2-5 PQE)

We're working with a leading law firm in Scotland who are seeking a talented Solicitor or Senior Solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE (applications outside this range will also be considered where relevant experience is demonstrated).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced team on high-value, complex litigation , while also managing your own caseload of motor claims. The role offers exposure to large loss and catastrophic injury defence work , opportunities for court appearances , and involvement in business development initiatives .

The role will involve:

• Assisting with the investigation and defence of large loss and catastrophic injury cases .
• Running a reduced litigated motor caseload .
• Conducting forensic review of liability, causation and quantum.
• Drafting advice, pleadings, and client correspondence.
• Liaising with clients, witnesses, counsel, and medical experts.
• Court appearances and supporting advocacy.
• Contributing to business development, including articles, blogs and events.

About you:

• 2-5 years PQE (flexible for strong candidates).
• Solid litigation experience , ideally with exposure to
• personal injury or motor work.
• Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills .
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Team player with the confidence to work independently.
• Time recording experience is advantageous.
