Management Accountant (Contract – 2–3 Months)

Location: Clydebank

Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Duration: 2–3 Month Contract (with potential to extend)

We’re working with a well-established engineering business that requires an experienced Management Accountant to support the finance function during a busy period of change and improvement.

This is a hands-on contract role where you’ll work closely with the Finance Director to bring the management accounts up to date and implement more robust reporting processes.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in stabilising and improving the finance function, including:

Bringing management accounts up to date and ensuring accuracy


Producing and improving reports using Sage 200


Supporting the Finance Director with financial analysis and insights


Working closely with the Accounts Senior to improve processes


Sharing best practice and helping to enhance overall finance procedures


Providing guidance and informal training on Sage 200 where required

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a fast-paced environment


Strong experience with Sage 200 (highly desirable)


Confident in producing and reviewing management accounts


Ability to work independently and hit the ground running


Strong communication skills with the ability to support and guide others


Experience within engineering or manufacturing would be advantageous
