HGV Class 1 Driver
HGV Class 1 Driver - Cambuslang
We’re hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers on a temporary full time basis to support our busy depots in Cambuslang.
This varied role includes shop deliveries, MMID is part of a globally recognized dairy company, operating a modern, well-maintained fleet.
Immediate starts are available for successful candidates following completion of an assessment and induction.
Shift available:
Wednesday to Saturday 00:00
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
- Saturday £18.71
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
- Saturday £21.38
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
