Commercial Administrator

As a Commercial Administrator you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. As a Commercial Administrator, you'll support the full commercial lifecycle of major rail frameworks - from contract award to close-out - helping us deliver on time, on budget and to the highest standards. Day to day you'll be required to:

  • Prepare variations, adjustment events and applications for payment, ensuring documentation is accurate and on time.
  • Maintain robust commercial records and correspondence that protect our position throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Support cost control, cash collection, change control and subcontract administration activities.
  • Attend project and client meetings, helping to produce cost reports, risk and opportunity updates and progress summaries.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and internal teams, contributing to collaborative solutions across the Alliance.
  • This role is full-time at 35 hours per week, based at Cadder Yard near Glasgow, Scotland. Hybrid working patterns are available with a minimum of three days on site.

  • Effective communicator with the confidence to engage colleagues, suppliers and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy, with the ability to manage documentation accurately.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems (SAP experience desirable).
