Cabling Gang
We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cabling Gang to join our team to help drive key projects forward. You'll play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and expansion of telecom networks both Overhead and Underground. Ensuring high standards of work and safety on site.
What We Expect of You:
As part of a gang, your responsibilities will include trenching to install ducts and cables, rodding and roping for cable pulling, and installing sub-ducts within existing ducting. You will also be responsible for Overhead cabling works. You'll work closely with site supervisors and other teams to ensure smooth project delivery while adhering to health and safety regulations. Operating plant machinery and reporting daily progress or issues will also be part of your role.
We're looking for candidates with proven experience in a Cabling gang or similar telecoms/civil engineering roles. A solid understanding of telecoms infrastructure both Underground and Overhead is essential. S001, S002, S007, S008 and K008 certifications, along with NRSWA SLG, and ideally have valid MEWP ticket, and a full UK driving licence are preferred, Teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to meet deadlines are key to succeeding in this role.There is an expectation that the gang will work away from home to cover all locations across Scotland and the Northeast of England. Accommodation will be provided.
