Catering Assistant

• Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food items, ensuring they meet our standards for taste, freshness, and appearance.
• Assist in Kitchen Operations: Support the kitchen team in various tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organised work space.
• Service Support: Contribute to the smooth running of events and functions by assisting with the setup, service, and breakdown of catering events.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and providing excellent customer service.
• Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience: Some experience in a catering or kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and assist colleagues during busy periods.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in food preparation and presentation to meet our high-quality standards.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the demands of the catering schedule.
