Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) About the Role A well-established building services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical (M&E) projects across Ayrshire and the surrounding areas. This role involves managing mechanical packages across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education developments. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while contributing to the delivery of energy-efficient and low-carbon building solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and industry regulations Monitor project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders Provide technical expertise on mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems Support the integration of renewable and energy-efficient technologies Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the construction or building services industry Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, heating, plumbing) Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND, SVQ, or equivalent) SMSTS or equivalent health & safety certification (preferred) What's on Offer Competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 Opportunity to work on high-value and sustainable projects Clear career progression within a growing organisation Supportive working environment with ongoing training and development How to Apply If you are a skilled Mechanical Project Manager seeking a new opportunity in Ayrshire, please submit your CV along with a short cover Click apply now!
