  • Turn fast‑moving, multi‑channel data into decisive actions that boost performance and elevate customer experience.

  • Hybrid working with up to 80% homeworking and 20% based at either our Glasgow office or Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon

About the role

It’s an exciting time to join our Digital & Direct team at NFU Mutual. We’re modernising how our customers buy and manage their Home, Motor, Equine and Commercial (micro and SME) insurance across multiple channels, all while maintaining the market leading customer satisfaction and retention NFU Mutual are known for. You’ll be part of a team that’s shaping new journeys and channels and driving the next phase of our Direct growth story.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Digital & Direct Trading Manager to shape the performance of our Direct channels, spanning both digital and our contact centre. Playing a central role in how we make trading decisions, you’ll optimise the channel mix to maximise commercial performance, drive operational efficiency and ensure we deliver an outstanding customer experience.

By translating complex multichannel data into clear, actionable recommendations you’ll drive performance and enable our future growth strategy.

Working collaboratively across the Digital & Direct team and with colleagues in Marketing, Sales & Agency, Finance, Underwriting and Pricing, you’ll align key performance metrics, support robust business cases and represent Direct performance at senior forums. As the go to expert for multichannel reporting, you’ll ensure our insight is robust, accurate and trusted, partnering with MI specialists across the business to maintain a single, reliable view of Direct performance.

About you

Commercially minded and data driven, you’re confident making clear, evidence-based distribution channel trading recommendations that influence decisions at pace. You have a strong understanding of digital and telephony journeys, and you can translate multi-channel performance into insight that drives both customer outcomes and business value.
